In 2020, Forrás Nyrt. decided to enter the alternative energy sector as a means of diversifying the group’s activities. As a result, from 2021, the company group began to purchase “ready to built” or ready made, operational solar power plants. In January 2022, Forrás acquired 100% ownership in Aquila New Energy Kft., which has since expanded to include 19 subsidiaries. Our goal is that by the end of 2023, the total output of the solar power plants within the group will exceed 40 Megawatts.
