In 2022, the Forrás Group, through its subsidiary Euronergy Omega Kft., started to implement a major greenfield project. As part of the investment, a photovoltaic solar system with a connection capacity of 16 MW on the AC side will be built in the immediate vicinity of the village of Vasmegyer. Thanks to the rotating solar support structures manufactured by Solituga, the power plant produces with high efficiency not only during the midday hours, but also in the morning and evening hours. The plant produces 33,000 MWh of energy per year. Production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2023.
