Kiss és Társa Kft. was founded in 1995 as a company engaged in the production of metal structures. A year later, the company became a partner of a foreign industrial machinery manufacturing group, to which it is now a “Class A” supplier. In 2018, the continuous expansion justified the relocation of production to a new site of more than 15,000 square metres in Mezőkövesd. Thanks to decades of experience and innovative developments, Kiss és Társa has become a leading player in the field of metal and sheet metal machining, with an annual production of more than 1 million parts and 240 employees. Forrás Nyrt. acquired exclusive ownership in the company in 2022.
The operation of Kiss és Társa Kft. covers the entire production process of the of compact equipment components, from the processing of raw materials to the ready-to-assemble products. Its product portfolio mainly consists of various parts for construction industry machinery (excavators, wheel loaders, dump trucks and telescopic loaders) and agricultural machinery. In addition, the company maintains a partnership with automotive suppliers and warehouse equipment manufacturers.
The company works on the basis of its own production know-how, using designs provided by customers. The steel and aluminium sheets and tubes used as raw materials for production are sourced from external suppliers. The production process itself begins with automatic laser cutters that cut the right-sized piece from the standard-sized sheet, then the cut piece goes through various, largely automated, metalworking steps. Surface preparation and paintwork are also carried out within the plant, but some of the surface treatment work has been outsourced. The company sells its products to foreign and domestic partners. The majority of exports go to Austria and Germany.
